Why I'm running for City Council
Taylorsville is an evolving city. Once an outlying suburban community of Salt Lake City, Taylorsville's "center of the valley" location has long outgrown that designation. Population growth, economic development, transportation alternatives, traffic congestion, public safety, preservation of green space and responsible redevelopment are all critical issues facing our city today.

- Arts and Entertainment: We need to promote our Arts Council and the local talent in our city.
- Economic Development: If we are to keep our residential tax assessments down, we must create better ways to generate sales tax dollars paid to Taylorsville City.
- Transportation: As our city and surrounding cities grow, so do our transportation woes.
- Open Spaces: Recreational opportunities and public parks make for healthy citizens and a vibrant city.
- Public Safety: Safe neighborhoods are the foundation of a thriving city.
