Fall Show Volunteer Awards

Cindy Aspen Award

For filling in as needed and offering support wherever possible, this award is given at the VADA Fall Show in honor of Cindy Aspen, a longtime competitor who always found ways to volunteer around her riding responsibilities.

Bill Boyd Award

For many hours past the call of duty, we award this at the VADA Fall Show in honor of Bill Boyd. A longtime supporter of VADA and our shows, we appreciate all those who come with our competitors to help.

Year End Performance Award Requirements

State Hours-

Counted only for VADA events, as listed on Volunteer Corner, and tracked automatically. Each Year End Award Application must include a full day of volunteer time for the State. Any corrections can be sent to VolunteerVADA@gmail.com before the deadline.

Hours will be posted by Oct 31

Corrections are due by Nov 15 (this includes donations of hours to another rider)

Hours will be sent directly to Year End Awards coordinator

Chapter Hours-

Counted by each Chapter, please contact your chapter directly for questions or concerns. Each Year End Award Application must include a half day of volunteer time for your Chapter.

Chapters must send a list of qualified riders by Dec 1 to VolunteerVADA@gmail.com for their members' applications to be considered.

SVDA Volunteers put in 500 hours in 2025!

Nova Volunteers put in 5,300 hours in 2025!

Charlottesville Volunteers put in over 400 hours in 2025!

North East had over 20 volunteers in 2025!

South West had over 25 volunteers in 2025!

Fredericksburg Volunteers put in over 600 hours in 2025!

Central had over 25 volunteers in 2025!

Working 2025

Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP)

Volunteer hours are non-transferable for the VIP Program. Hours must be earned by the recipient, no application is required, and details will be sent at the end of the year to the recipients. Bronze Volunteers have completed 1.5 days. Silver Volunteers have completed 3 days. Gold Volunteers have completed over 5 days.(Not in this list- Board meetings and donated hours)
