BASSSORA PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: September 14, 2026
BassSora (listed on the App Store as Volume Booster: BassSora) is provided by Phuc Tran. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our music player, sound effects, imports, subscriptions and related features.

1. YOUR MUSIC AND LOCAL APP DATA
Imported audio, extracted audio from videos, library information, playlists, presets and preferences are stored on your device. BassSora does not require an app account and does not upload your imported music to an AI processing service or to our own cloud music library.
When you select a file or grant Music Library access, BassSora uses the content and metadata needed for your chosen feature. Selecting a file does not grant access to every file on your device. Copies may also exist in iCloud, device backups or a file provider, depending on your settings and the source you select.
Direct URL imports and online audio or artwork requests connect to the relevant source host. That host can receive your IP address, requested URL and ordinary connection information and applies its own privacy practices. Wi-Fi transfer receives files over your local network while the transfer feature is enabled. Use this feature only on a trusted network and stop it when finished; local HTTP transfer is not end-to-end encrypted.
2. PURCHASE INFORMATION
Apple processes payments. We do not receive your payment-card number or bank-account details. BassSora processes product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, subscription expiration and verification information to provide, restore and check Premium access.
Verified subscription transactions and purchase-flow events may be logged with Google Analytics for Firebase to measure purchases and diagnose the purchase experience. Cancelling renewal, uninstalling the app or deleting local music does not erase Apple's purchase records or cancel a subscription automatically.
3. USAGE, DEVICE AND DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION
Google Analytics for Firebase processes app opens, screen views, feature interactions, purchase-flow events, app and operating-system versions, installation identifiers and diagnostic information. Google services may derive approximate location from an IP address; this is different from requesting precise GPS location.
Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations process installation and app information to deliver configuration such as feature timers. Our custom analytics events do not include your imported audio, track titles, filenames or imported URLs.
The integrated Google Mobile Ads SDK may process device identifiers, advertising information, product interactions, approximate location and crash, performance or other diagnostic information. SDK initialization can involve processing even when an advertisement is not displayed. Processing depends on SDK operation, permissions and applicable settings.
4. PURPOSES AND PROVIDERS
We use information to provide playback and import features, preserve local settings, verify Premium access, configure the app, understand app usage and purchases, diagnose problems, prevent abuse and answer support requests. Advertising and measurement providers may use the SDK information described above for advertising, measurement and analytics, subject to applicable permissions and settings.
Providers include Apple for purchases and platform services; Google Firebase for analytics, remote configuration and installations; Google Mobile Ads for advertising-related services; and the file, audio or artwork hosts you access. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect users and service security. We do not sell your imported music or provide it as an advertising audience attribute.
Providers may process information outside your country and have their own privacy and retention practices:

Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
5. TRACKING AND PERMISSIONS
Where permission is required for tracking across other companies' apps or websites, BassSora requests it through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. The advertising identifier is available to permitted SDKs only when iOS authorizes access. The Firebase Analytics configuration used by BassSora does not access the advertising identifier.
You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent basic playback and does not necessarily disable product analytics, diagnostics or transaction processing. You can separately manage Music Library and Local Network permissions in iOS Settings. Declining a permission may prevent the feature that requires it from working.
6. RETENTION, DELETION AND YOUR RIGHTS
Local files and app data remain until you remove them through the app or device controls. Backup and file-provider copies follow the settings and retention practices of those services. Analytics, diagnostic, support and purchase-related records have different retention needs and may be retained as needed for their purpose, legal obligations, security or dispute resolution. Provider-side logs and backups follow the relevant provider's retention processes.
To request access, correction or deletion of information we hold, or exercise applicable privacy rights, contact phuctran.devpro@gmail.com. Describe the request and provide enough non-sensitive information to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify the request. Do not send your Apple password or payment-card details. We will explain any records we must retain under applicable law. Uninstalling BassSora does not cancel an Apple subscription.
7. SECURITY
We use platform protections and appropriate safeguards for information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device and backups secure, be careful with third-party URLs, and use Wi-Fi transfer only on trusted networks.
8. CHILDREN AND POLICY CHANGES
BassSora is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. The current policy is linked from BassSora Settings, the purchase screen and the App Store listing.
