DANCE TEAM EXPECTATIONS
Being a member of the Pocatello High School Voltage Dance Team requires dedication. Team members are expected to uphold high standards as they represent their school, community, and team at all times. Dancers are considered student athletes and must work hard both in the classroom and in practice. The best part of being on a team is the relationships built with other teammates. Participating in high school dance team allows dancers the chance to do what they love and still be involved at school. Dancers will get the opportunity to compete in the Dance, Pom, Military, and HipHop divisions.

*REMINDER
We work with all of our dancers' busy studio schedules and dancers are allowed to participate in Fall sports if they choose to as long as it does not interfere excessively with set dance performance schedule. Communication between your coaches and the dancer must happen so we can plan accordingly for conflicting schedules. Our competition season ends before the studio competition season begins. We have had dancers participate in local shows (such as the Nutcracker and DYW) and we are able to work around those schedules. Again, communication is KEY!

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
Our season has typically cost beween $1900-2200. This amount is subject to change, but a final breakdown of team fees will be sent to team members. We do fundraisers throughout the year and include individual fundraisers. We do many different fundraisers so dancers are able to fundraise the majority of their fees relieving any financial burdens! There are set payment dates to help keep you on track and give you the ability to plan ahead. If finances are a concern, email us at pokyvoltagedanceteam@gmail.com. We can be flexible with payment dates depending on the situation.Â
