TyLisa C. Johnson is a storyteller by gift and a journalist by training. At 8, she wrote her first poem. At 16, she was published in her first book. At 18, she saw her first byline. Since then, she's dedicated her writing and journalism to elevating voices otherwise ignored in cities across the nation. This blog is an extension of that mission.
