Pyramid Challenge/Giant Round Robin

Pyramid Challenge Rules:

1. The order of play is determined by the order of players' signing in.

2. You may only challenge players listed one row above your row or within your row.

3. You may not decline to play a player, who appropriately challenges you.

4. If you win your challenge match or you lose to a player, who challenged you, then you will trade row place listings with that player.

5. You may not challenge the same player twice on the day of play.   

6. If you are absent from too many Challenge sessions, then your name/rating will be moved down the appropriate number of rows deemed by the Executive Committee.  

7. Matches are the best of three 11 point games.

Giant Round Robin:

• In a Giant Round Robin, all same level rating players are assigned to play in a single or double elimination tournament.  For example, all 800 plus rated players compete together; all 400 to 799 rated players compete together; all 0 to 399 rated players compete together.
