Vidya Mobile
Vidya Mobile is a comprehensive app to disseminate information to the general public about Vidya Academy of Science & Technology, Thrissur. The app is perhaps the first of its kind to be developed by an institution of comparable standing in India. It has been developed as a mobile alternative to the traditional college diary and calendar.
Ramayana Parayanam
An app to read and also to listen to the recitation of the entire text of the classic Malayalam Adhyathma Ramayanam by Thunchath Ezhuthachan. It also contains the visual splendour of several image galleries pertaining to the story of Ramayana.
Guess RGB
Each colour is represented by three numbers, each ranging from 0 to 255. The first number represents how much red there is, the next represents how much green there is and the third number represents how much blue there is. The higher the number, the more of that colour. So, for example (255, 0, 0) represents a full red colour, because the number representing red is the highest possible value (255) and there is zero green and zero blue. (0, 0, 0) produces black and (255, 255, 255) produces white. These three colours can be combined to produce any visible colour. This way of representing a colour by three numbers is known as the RGB.
The app challenges the user to guess the RGB components in a randomly selected colour!!
Bhagavad Gita
The Bhagavad Gita, the "Song of God", consisting of 700 verses divided into 18 chapters, needs no introduction. This app is intended to serve two purposes: One is to provide a simple one point access to videos containing musical recitation of the text of the Gita with verse-by-verse translation into Malayalam through which one can hear and enjoy the Gita; the other is to provide the text and translation, along with chapter-by-chapter summary, in an easily navigable format.
