A course pack is a compilation of course materials put into one easy-to-access place for students.Course packs can act as a supplement to a textbook or as a replacement. The Delhi High Court has ruled in September 2016 that photocopying portions of academic publications to make course packs for students does not amount to copyright infringement and hence is not illegal in India.
