8th Grade Dance - "No Fuss Un-Fundraiser"
The 8th Grade Dance Committee is starting to prepare for the dance on May 31st, 2024 at Vibe in Riverdale, NJ
As the dance date comes closer, we will send out more information for volunteers and wish list items, but for right now, to make this dance a success, we are seeing how much fundraising we need to do.
Our "No-Fuss Un-Fundraiser" for the 8th-grade dance will be in place of sending students home with the task of selling door to door, collecting money, organizing events, and delivering goods. Please help us avoid all that by supporting this year's 8th-grade dance committee with a donation instead.
Please send cash donations or a check made out to "VMS PTO" to the front office in an envelope marked “VMS PTO - 8th Grade Dance”.
For those of you still interested in our fundraising projects, we will do "Flocking" in the spring along with graduation lawn signs to offset any remaining costs.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email vmspto@oaklandschoolsnj.org.

Please join the Franklin Lakes Mayors Wellness Campaign for our annual Baskets 4 Hope 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament, on Saturday, June 22, 2024. This year we will honor the memory of Mohamedamine “Mo” Abouzid. Mo was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a rare disorder of progressive muscular weakness. Mo did not allow this illness to define him, he was always an inspirational force of positivity and optimism. On January 2, 2024, 16 year old Mo lost his battle. Mo was a student at Indian Hills High School, friends described him as a kind, smart, and gentle soul. “Mo embodied the best qualities of an Indian Hills Brave, bringing light to those around him. He was truly a beloved member of the community; his warmth and kindness touched the hearts of everyone he met, leaving an indelible mark on those around him,” Jabriel Tantawi.
