PTO MEMBERSHIP
Please join the VMS PTO! Membership is $20.00 per family and helps fund PTO operational costs, supports the many activities and events the PTO coordinates and gives you access to the VMS Student Directory, PTO website, NewsFlash archives and communication.
We are also officially a 501(c)(3)! Therefore, your membership can be a tax write off.
When a vote is required, only paid PTO members can vote.

School Volunteers Policy
Below are the Oakland Board of Educations School Volunteers, School Visitors, HIB and Rules of Conduct Policy. Please make sure to click on each document below and read over them. Once you have read over each of the policies, please fill out and submit the VMS PTO Waiver before you volunteer.

Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying
Every year, the Oakland Public School system requires all parents and or guardians who volunteer in the school to submit a HIB form. (Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying) Please submit the Google "HIB" Form as soon as possible and forward the vmspto@oaklandschoolsnj.org a copy of your response emailed to you from the OPS for our records. The form only needs to be done once a school year.
