My name is Ezekiel G. Melo, and this e-portfolio, which I made while working as a pre-service teacher at Victorino Mapa High School, is a summary of everything I learned and accomplished throughout my Practice Teaching.
I met all 360 hour requirement for being a pre-service teacher throughout the phase of our Practice Teaching. Due to Ms. Asuncion Cruz (my cooperating teacher's) willingness to give me the most freedom possible in the classroom, I have had the opportunity to serve as an official educator and gain real teaching experience. She allowed me to develop and put into practice my own teaching philosophy, style, and ideologies, which helped me establish my own unique teaching identity.
Teaching creatively entails connecting the lesson's subject matter and content to the students' daily life and the outside world. They may become more purpose-driven as a result of this. Developing the most relevant lesson ideas, in my opinion, can be aided by getting to know your students on a deep level and knowing about their backgrounds. I will showcase entirety my learnings in this portfolio, along with everything I would like to showcase about my practice teaching experience and reflections.

I think one of the best ways to increase the effectiveness of the entire process as a ICT learner and instructor is to keep students motivated. While each student has their own motivations for learning ICT, teachers are crucial in supporting and enhancing those motivations.

Students will learn less of ICT if they are uncomfortable participating in class discussions. I think it is crucial to create a welcoming and informal environment in the classroom. I make an effort to accomplish this by praising them and encouraging them. Also, I make every lesson idea unique and prefer to create pair and group exercises to class discussions.
Practice of teaching is an essential part of teacher preparation. It gives aspiring teachers like myself the chance to apply all our learning and enables us to acquire more knowledge to fully become a seasoned educators. It was hard but worthwhile experience that aids pre-service teachers like me in improving as future educator.
I faced a variety of difficulties during my practice teaching. Among the most typical difficulties is managing a classroom. It can be difficult to complete this task, especially for new teachers. Learning how to manage student behavior and foster a positive learning environment takes time and effort.
Different students learn at different rates and in different ways. To ensure that all students succeed, pre-service teachers must learn how to differentiate instruction. Next, establishing connections with students. This is crucial for fostering a supportive learning environment and assisting students in their academic progress. Teachers-in-training must learn how to establish relationships with students and gain their trust.
Lastly, handling unforeseen circumstances. In the classroom, things do not always go as I planned. In my experience, I must be able to remain composed under pressure and solve problems quickly. These are just a few of the difficulties I encountered during my pre-service teaching. However, with perseverance, commitment, and assistance from knowledgeable teachers, these difficulties are surmountable. Gladly, I am passionate enough as a future educator and always willing to acquire knowledge as much as I could, making me survive my practice teaching days.
