Victorino Mapa High School (Filipino: Mataas na Paaralang Victorino Mapa) (formerly Manila East High School) is one of the city's oldest public high schools, located in San Miguel, Manila. Since its founding in 1923, it has produced a long list of successful graduates in a variety of fields.
Victorino Mapa, along with Manila Science High School, Ramon Magsaysay High School, Manuel Roxas High School, Arellano (Manila North) High School, and Araullo High School, provides rigorous Special Science courses to top students. In terms of performance in achievement tests and competitions, the institution is regarded as one of the top schools in Manila. In 2007, VMHS was named one of Manila's cleanest schools.

MISSION
