As a component of a module's final project, this motion graphics piece was crafted using After Effects. Its purpose was to create a brief trailer for a Singaporean film named Centrepoint Kidz.Â
During the development stage, as the storyline was set in the 80s and 90s, I conducted extensive research and generated several concepts to design suitable motion graphics that could effectively convey the desired emotions for the trailer. This was the ongoing work in progress during that period.
Creative Motion Graphics Portfolio
I designed a motion graphics portfolio as part of my motion graphics module. In this experiential project, each student was required to create their own dynamic portfolio and present it to the class. To add a unique twist, I infused my personal interests into the portfolio by crafting various items such as ID cards, sticker packs, and plane tickets.
However, being a novice in the field, my final video fell short of the desired level of expertise. Instead of a polished creative portfolio, it resembled more of a stop-motion project with room for improvement in terms of smoothness and skillful execution.
