My Identity

I'm Vivyan, a third-year student at Republic Polytechnic, an outgoing and enthusiastic individual on a continuous quest for personal growth through diverse challenges. My ambition? A career in journalism.

Throughout my academic journey, I became proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, while also mastering InDesign and XD. These skills weren't handed to me – I started from scratch, diligently honing my abilities, enabling me to adapt adeptly to unfamiliar environments. My goal is to contribute to a company, leveraging my problem-solving prowess and creative thinking skills with a specific focus on marketing initiatives.

Volunteer and Leadership Experience

Republic Polytechnic STA Club, Peer Supporter

- Actively participated in guiding and leading a group of Year 1s in a STA Camp

- Guided a group of Year 1 students in a class setting for Orientation Programme

Republic Polytechnic AVMP, Secretary, EXCO Committee

- Designed IG logo and handled the Instagram account of AVMP smoothly.

- Participated in SYMBIOSIS 2022 in the Student team as a video editor, was recognized with certificate of participation.

Republic Polytechnic IGNITE Music Festival, Design Team Member

- Creatively designed posters advertising the music festival where poster was recommended.

- Designed assets and logos for IGNITE, praised for productivity.

With passion for photography, editing, and graphic designing, I use my spare time to work on several passion projects that I have yet published, and has huge interest in reading fictions to gain more inspirations and ideas for her works. I am also involved in music, learning the guitar and helping out in my interest group that involves helping the school with filming and media production.
