Since a very young age, I have known I wanted to work in healthcare. I always envisioned myself in a hospital doing clinical work. When I came to IUPUI I had no idea what direction I wanted to take in healthcare so I remained exploratory during my first year and half of college. I remember my sophomore year my advisor introduced me to the Health Services Management program and it was my first time considering an administrative role. I did some research and immediately knew it was the best fit for me. With this path, I could fulfill my desire to help people while also making sure I was utilizing my strengths working behind the scenes.
