I went to Seoul Media City Biennale.
There were many works of various media.
What I liked the most was the work of CAE, Which was direct demonstration of sediment by putting river water into a transparent water tank.
People could see with their eyes how polluted the water was and they can vote for what is the most polluted river. you can vote by putting a crystal ball in a bowl in front of a tank, and I voted in Paldang Dam by putting a bead on it. The reason why I liked the work was that the audience was able to participate in it. And what the work was trying to convey was very intuitive and clear.
I also liked the work "DOING FINE" of Youthzone Yangcheon.
It was a list of young people's diverse ideas, and there was a lot of things I sympathized with as a contemporary person.
However, it would have been better if there were more ideas. I thought that it was too short. It would be great if they gathered more people's thoughts and filled one of the walls of the exhibition hall.
One corner of the exhibition hall was an open research station.
I participated in open research.
I was asked to write down some questions about art, and the person who asked the question could use one`s real name or fake name, so I wrote an fake name. I have left some questions about the preservation of my work.
The artificial intelligence exhibition on the third floor was very interesting because I didn't usually have much interest in technology.
However, there were no works I could participate in the artificial intelligence section. I felt a little sorry for that part. I like to go to exhibitions and actually touch or do things, so it seems less interesting to see things that I can't do.
