We get to my favorite part, the discovery of Ireland. Because yes, Dublin is great but Ireland is so incredible and looks like breathtaking landscapes. Ireland is not a very big island but the diversity of its landscapes makes it one of the most beautiful in the world. The mixture of green countryside, ruins of monuments that have withstood the test of time, cliffs, mountains and lakes is what attracts so many tourists every year, even if the weather is almost always rainy, this is part of the charm of this island. Many organizations allow to visit Ireland easily. It is an interesting compromise if you want to invest your time and money for day trips. I have even traveled alone through Ireland and I loved it. I advise you not to stay always in the same place, there are so many things to discover in this country that you will not even have time to say ouf!
Northern Ireland has completely conquered my heart. I felt so at home there. The landscapes are indescribable, the fauna and the preserved flora of the coasts make Northern Ireland a wild and charming land. Ideal to discover the most beautiful spots, some of which are classified as Unesco heritage sites. The city of Belfast is an open-air museum with its breathtaking gothic architecture. The Titanic museum is proudly located here.
The mountainous landscapes are numerous in Ireland. You will find your happiness for the passionate of walking and hiking in the natural parks of Ireland or in its mountains. Glendalough and Wicklow are not far from Dublin, at 1 hour drive. There are two beautiful lakes where many movies/series were made, such as the Vikings series. The air is good, ideal for sunny days here in Dublin and to get away from the busy city center and recharge your batteries in the middle of nature.
The Connemara region is vast and gets lost in the immensity of the Irish roads. It is one of the most beautiful regions in the world, offering breathtaking views of the lakes, the Irish countryside and Kylmore Abbey. You can also visit the mythical city of Galway and the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher. Fans of road trips, adventure and discovery always and inevitably pass through the Connemara region, a must-see region of Ireland. You can also easily access the Aran Islands, very famous for their wildlife.
I have booked all of my tours (alone or accompanied) with Get Your Guide. Ideal for day trips, preserve your budget and use it correctly to discover Ireland easily. Transportation is included, transfers are very well organized and the guides are always at the top. We make several stops during the days to visit. There is a very good quality/price ratio, depending on the excursions of course (always look at the best rated). I really liked this concept which allowed me to leave and visit the country quietly without stress, with a very good organization and very good advice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
