If you like Asian food, Dublin is going to blow your mind. There is a lot of choice in terms of restaurants, many different flavors, from small fast food restaurants to high end restaurants: there is something for everyone. It's the opportunity to get lost in the streets of Dublin and to find some must-sees for foodies

I really liked this restaurant, the setting is very nice, you have to book in advance but lunch is usually more available than dinner. The food is very fragrant and with a lot of taste. The quality-price ratio is excellent and the service is top notch. Perfect for a family lunch or a drink for a date.

Very nice place, a little atypical, we are plunged in a small restaurant which makes us plunged in the universe of Japan. The meals are good and copious (especially the ramen), beautiful presentation and good service. Small negative point: the chairs are very high to avoid for the elderly and the choice of desserts is very limited.

For brunch fanatics, for the love of the sweet and salty mix and big Instagramable tables, what better than a brunch. And in Dublin, there are many, many, many ... to enjoy with friends on weekends.

The brunch at Angelina is excellent, very good value for money especially in terms of quantities the plates are huge even just one dish. There is a lot of choice between sweet and salty, the view is magnificent inside and outside on the terrace along the canal. Soothing and lively place, pleasant service.

Very nice for a small brunch or just to drink a coffee between two classes. Well located, close to O'connel street, the staff is friendly and the place is cocooning. The plates are very well furnished.

As a current student in Dublin, I know that life is quite expensive here so I'm going to share with you some tips on how to shop here as a student or even as a visitor to Dublin. My advice is to first find the most convenient places for you, i.e. close to your place of work/study or your place of residence to be the most comfortable. Then, be able to look for stores that you like, with products that you like. I will also share with you in this tab some nice little cafés, for coffee addicts.
Lidl is the most cost effective supermarket here especially for students/people on a budget. You'll find everything you need in every area: food, home essentials, cleaning...
It's the best value for money for basic everyday things. Good to know: here in Ireland, food expires much faster than in France for example, the preservatives must not be the same so plan your shopping according to your weeks.
The Boots store is very well known in Ireland and the United Kingdom. They are stores where you can find mainly pharmacies and beauty products, hair care or accessories, pharmaceutical products or even perfumes. In Ireland, you will not find stores like Sephora or pharmacies in particular. You will have to go to a boot store.
The Starbucks chain is very present in Dublin, there are Starbucks stores all over the city, so it is very easy to have a coffee in the city, to work and even to eat something. Starbucks being an international company and Dublin welcoming a lot of foreigners, it makes the chain a very good place to be. It is still a bit expensive though.
I discovered the Insomnia channel in dublin, there are also many. It is a channel especially Irish. There is a large choice of drinks, snacks and very good pastries.
The Insomnia cafés are often very well arranged, with a very nice and calm atmosphere to have your coffee or your breakfast and even to be able to work there because there are big spaces.
Koffee + Kale was also a discovery for me. There are a few in the north of Dublin, especially around Dorset College and Croke Park. The service is dynamic and the people very pleasant. I love to have their Chaï Latte which is excellent.
The prices are quite expensive here in Dublin but the quality is there. You can find healthy dishes such as homemade salads or wraps as well as famous pastries. The places are warm and welcoming, and the drinks are delicious.
The take-away system is very present in Dublin, just like in other big cities in the world. It is very easy to order in many restaurants: great restaurants, fast food, bubble tea ...
This is convenient when we don't feel like cooking or shopping :) but it also has a cost because there are usually taxes for transportation as everywhere. The service has always been long for me, which always keeps me from ordering. However, it remains a good alternative for the most lazy among you.
The fast food are very present in Dublin, there is for all the tastes. There are many international fast food restaurants, such as Filipino or Mexican, and the classics like McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Subway and many others. Prices are much lower than in France, so fast food is even more accessible. They are also everywhere in town, so it's easy to get there even on foot.
They are also all available on the online ordering and delivery sites.
