Collective Photography Book by Visione Oltre
A cessation of flow, a point of suspension where the image replaces the word and silence becomes a substance to be heard.
Born from a workshop led by Tobia Donà and Letizia Malaman, this publication investigates what surfaces when the narrative breaks: the waiting, the subtle fracture, the density of the unsaid. The images collected here do not seek to explain or represent a single meaning; instead, they move within a space of friction, where time seems to bend, linger, and repeat.
Each photograph is born as a gesture of listening: toward places, toward bodies, and toward those minimal situations where something has just been consumed or is about to occur. It is a territory of
Wounds of Light
Collective Photography Book by Visione Oltre
Inspired by the poet Giuseppe Ungaretti, who once described his verses as “wounds of light”, this collective volume gathers the works of photographers selected through the Visione Oltre open call.
In each image, light becomes both subject and metaphor: an element that reveals, burns, heals, and transforms. The photographs in Wounds of Light explore the fragile balance between illumination and shadow, visibility and silence, presence and absence. This book is not simply a collection of images, but a dialogue among artists from different backgrounds who share a common sensitivity: the awareness that every photograph is born from a fracture, an encounter between the visible and the invisible. Printed and curated by Visione Oltre, Wounds of Light continues the project’s mission to give space to emerging voices in contemporary photography, transforming open calls into tangible books and collective journeys of vision.
Sequenze Interrotte
L'Immagine Inconscia
This volume gathers the photographic projects developed during the workshop The Unconscious Image, led by Tobia Donà and Emanuela Fersini, inviting participants to move beyond the mere representation of the visible and explore their inner landscape.
The book presents photography as a tool for giving form to the human unconscious: dreams, desires, and hidden fears emerge, revealing those mental ghosts that usually remain concealed.
Inspired by the principles of Surrealism, the images transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, generating enigmatic atmospheres and mysterious suggestions. Here, the seemingly impossible becomes tangible through meticulous attention to craft.
The works presented oscillate between reality and inner projection, creating a sense of disorientation that opens the door to new perceptions. The Unconscious Image celebrates photography’s power to probe the unknown, offering a profound reflection on our perception of reality and on the unexpected that lies within the familiar.
