Il corpo è il primo spazio che abitiamo.
Prima dell'architettura, prima dell'immagine, prima ancora del linguaggio.
L'involucro umano non è soltanto pelle, ma soglia:
una superficie sensibile che protegge e separa, che trattiene e lascia passare,
che registra il tempo, la fatica, le trasformazioni dell'identità.
È un confine permeabile tra interno ed esterno,
tra ciò che siamo e ciò che scegliamo di mostrare.
Questa call invita a interrogare il corpo non come oggetto,
ma come struttura, luogo, dispositivo narrativo.
Un involucro che può essere segnato, coperto, trasformato, frammentato
o emergere/manifestarsi anche in assenza della figura umana.
La call accoglie lavori che affrontano il tema in modo concettuale, simbolico o indiretto:
attraverso il gesto, il dettaglio, l'abito, la traccia, l'ombra,
l'architettura, lo spazio vuoto, ciò che resta.
L'interesse non è la rappresentazione del corpo in sé,
ma il modo in cui la fotografia può esplorare ciò che lo contiene,
lo custodisce, lo attraversa o lo espone.
Le opere selezionate saranno pubblicate in un volume monografico dedicato alla Call della rivista Visione Oltre. Il numero sarà disponibile in formato cartaceo consultabile online. La partecipazione è gratuita.
Aperto a fotografi di ogni formazione e livello.

The body is the primary space we inhabit. Preceding architecture, imagery, and even language itself. The human envelope is not merely skin, but a threshold: a sentient surface that protects and separates, that retains and releases, recording the passage of time, the weight of effort, and the shifts in identity.
It serves as a permeable boundary between the interior and the exterior—between who we are and what we choose to reveal.
This call invites an interrogation of the body not as an object, but as a structure, a site, and a narrative device. An envelope that can be marked, shrouded, transformed, or fragmented—one that may manifest even in the absence of the human figure.
We welcome works that approach this theme through conceptual, symbolic, or indirect lenses: through gesture, detail, attire, or trace; through shadow, architecture, void, and remains.
The focus is not on the representation of the body per se, but on how photography can explore that which contains, shelters, permeates, or exposes it.
Selected works will be published in a monographic volume dedicated to the Call by Visione Oltre magazine. The issue will be available in print and viewable online. Participation is free.
Open to photographers of all backgrounds and levels.
Submit up to 10 images (JPEG, low resolution).
Include a short artist statement (maximum 300 words).
