YOUTH FESTIVAL

The 31st Manbhavan Yuvak Mahotsav, hosted by MKBU, honored the theme of Nari Shakti Vandana, celebrating women's empowerment through a series of engaging events. The festival commenced with Kalayatra, where the Department of English presented a thought-provoking model depicting women's historical and contemporary struggles.

Students actively participated in a variety of competitions, including skits, quizzes, folk dance, and artistic showcases. Among the standout performances were Mahamrityunjay, Christy Brown’s Biography, and Lokvadhy Vrundh, each highlighting unique cultural and literary narratives. The festival concluded on a high note, with the Department of English earning silver medals in poster making and rangoli, making it a memorable and inspiring experience for all involved.

The Bhav Spandan Youth Festival 2024 kicked off with Kalayatra, where participating colleges showcased themes such as feminism, equality, and education through creative presentations. The Department of English focused on the influence of social media and substance abuse on students, shedding light on contemporary challenges. The procession began at Shamaldas Arts College and concluded at Swaminarayan Gurukul, culminating in lively garba performances.

The festival featured a diverse array of events, including skits, mimicry, singing, and literary competitions, all addressing pressing social issues. Although the Department of English did not secure a victory, students exhibited exceptional teamwork and dedication, managing event preparations and successfully organizing literary contests. The experience fostered a sense of unity, making the festival an enriching and unforgettable journey.
