VDC GUIDE

If you have not had your hearing tested by a hearing professional recently, we encourage you to do so before considering the purchase of any Assistive Listening Device (ALD).

If you are a hearing aid or cochlear implant user and have not explored the assistive technology accessories that are offered by your device's manufacturer, you may benefit by first visiting their website or your hearing provider prior to considering the purchase of similar third-party products such as those available for evaluation in the HLAA-Rochester NY Demo Center.

  • Or continue to the Main Virtual Demo Center Assistive Listening Devices page, click here.

If you are not a hearing aid wearer but are having some difficulty understanding speakers in certain situations (e.g. outdoor, classroom, lectures, TV, personal conversations), some of the devices contained on this site may be of benefit to you.
