The apps shown here are just some of many and new ones are appearing on the web frequently. Some are free, some have a one-time payment, and some are subscription based. If you a different app that you like to use for the categories above, please let us know.

Be careful when selecting an app. Stick to Google Play Store (Android), Apple App Store (iOS), or look for a known reliable provider e.g Samsung for a Samsung phone. Choose apps with a high rating across a large number of users.

Some apps work only on Android phones and tablets, some only on Apple iOS devices, and some are made to work on both. Some work only on Windows PCs.

The Rochester HLAA Chapter does not certify or recommend specific apps. The apps that are listed on this website are included only due to having been found through one or more members' personal use to provide some hearing assistive value. Omission does not indicate disapproval.
