We (Prof. Karagadde and I) have started the solidification lab at IIT Bombay. We have designed, built and set-up a number of solidification experiments and optical instrumentation, including facilities such as particle image velocimetry (PIV) and shadowgraphy, to perform real-time solidification experiments of transparent mixtures.
