The Vision: I took this at Tyler, the Creator’s "Camp Flog Gnaw" festival while waiting in line for a ride. I noticed the green lights on the swings matched the aesthetic of his Chromakopia album and wanted to capture that vibe. By using a longer shutter speed, I was able to get a motion blur effect that shows the ride in action. I really like how the green glow dominates the dark sky.

The Vision: I captured this during Kali Uchis' set at Camp Flog Gnaw while she performed "Telepatía." I was struck by the contrast between her white angel wings and the deep pinkish-red backdrop. I wanted to capture the ethereal energy of the performance, and I think the framing successfully highlights her as the center of the show.

The Vision: I wanted to capture the incredible detail of Kali Uchis' performance at Camp Flog Gnaw. I love how this shot captures the sparkles on her outfit and microphone so clearly. She is perfectly posed, and the lighting highlights the energy of the set. Looking back, I think this is a beautiful portrait that captures her stage presence perfectly.

The Vision: I captured PARTYOF2 (Swim and Jada Grace) performing "1, 2 Step" at Camp Flog Gnaw. I really liked their stage backdrop, and the natural afternoon sunlight complimented the performance perfectly. This shot captures the bright, high-energy atmosphere of the festival.

The Vision: I captured this shot of the rapper La Reezy opening the main stage at Camp Flog Gnaw. I was really drawn to his style, specifically his airbrushed shirt and overall outfit. I love the way the bright blue background creates a strong pop of color that makes him stand out as the central focus of the performance.

Reminicing at the Ferris Wheel
The Vision:I took this photo of my boyfriend as we were walking back to the car after a long day at the festival. I love how he was perfectly lined up with the ferris wheel lights, gazing at the sky. I wanted to capture that quiet, "reminiscing" feeling of the night ending. Because of the low light, the photo has a natural blur that adds to the dreamy, nostalgic mood of the memory.

The Vision:I wanted to experiment with light manipulation in our photography studio. Working in total darkness with two friends, I used a slow shutter speed to capture the movement of rainbow strobe lights and a light toy. I love the abstract, flowing design it created. It was an exciting way to use movement to turn light into a physical shape.

The Fire Fish
The Fire Fish
The Vision: I captured this at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, where a fish skeleton was displayed under orange lights. By using a long shutter speed, I accidentally created a fiery trail that makes the skeleton look like it's moving through flames. This is one of my proudest pieces because it shows how a technical "accident" can turn a simple subject into a powerful piece of light manipulation.
