I love and listen to music of all genres, from hymns to pop music. I adore a lot of different musicians, but if I had to single out one who has influenced me in my daily life, it would be Taylor Swift, a country pop singer. Why Taylor Swift when there are so many other singer-songwriters in the world? Is she really so talented and great? Is she truly that relatable and inspirational? Why would someone refer to her as "The Queen of the Music Industry"?
The music industry has a lot to offer to its audience, and there are countless musicians that can help you cope with your feelings. And now I introduce you to Taylor Alison Swift, the queen of the music industry! Taylor is an American singer-songwriter who specializes in both pop and country music. She is from Nashville and moved away with her family when she was 14 to pursue a career as a country musician. Since my cousins played their music at every family gathering and celebration, I had known her since I was a small kid. After listening to most of her songs, I looked her up on various social media platforms. She is known for her heartfelt song bridges, and I can personally attest that after hearing and reflecting on her songs, you will have a special place in your heart for her. That’s because her personal life, particularly her dating life, served as the inspiration for many of her songs. Taylor Swift's debut album, "Taylor Swift," was released on October 24, 2006, and it debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 chart on November 11, 2006, with first-week sales of 40,000 copies. Her supporters are referred to as "Swifties," and we are huge admirers of her music. Given that I'm a Swiftie, I am not surprised when one of her songs ranks among the top 10 most streamed songs of a given year because I have seen for myself the creativity and brilliant metaphors she uses in her songwriting. There are ten albums by Taylor, including Taylor Swift (2006), Fearless (2008), Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017), Lover (2019), Folklore (Mid 2020), Evermore (Late 2020), and Midnights (2022), her most recent album. As I listen to all of her masterpieces, I can assure you that they are addictive, and once you establish a connection with these, I can testify that it will be extremely challenging not to get even more captivated by her works. Since Taylor is known for her song bridges, one of my favorite is the bridge of All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault) which is:
“Well, maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up
Runnin' scared, I was there
I remember it all too well
And you call me up again just to break me like a promise
So casually cruel in the name of being honest
I'm a crumpled-up piece of paper lying here
'Cause I remember it all, all, all”

I instantly start singing along with this song at the top of my lungs whenever I see the bridge since I can still hear the tune in my head. The emotional impact that each phrase in this song has on me makes me feel as though I have already gone through a traumatic experience. Additionally, I became accustomed to her compositions, and I hardly ever play music by other artists. Taylor Swift is just constantly present in my everyday life. My family once admitted that they knew I was inside our home as soon as Taylor Swift's song started playing. By this, I can say that I am a total addict to her songs. She has also received many awards for her efforts. Taylor has received 42 total nominations and has already won 11 Grammys! I'm really proud of her as a swiftie and I know she deserves it! Aside from that, she received 23 American Music Awards, making her the most awarded female artist in AMA history, 8 Academy of Country Music Awards, 23 Billboard Music Awards, setting a record for the most Billboard Music Awards, and too many other awards to mention. With all of her professional success, there are drawbacks as well. Regarding the ownership of the master recordings for her first six studio albums, Taylor has a dispute with her previous record label Big Machine Records, its founder Scott Borchetta, and its current owner Scooter Braun. The master rights to Taylor Swift's early albums were purchased by Braun in 2019 after he acquired her previous label. Our very own Taylor has had to re-record her music as a result of what happened, which Swift described as her "worst case scenario." On November 21, 2021, she re-recorded her album "Red," which is now known as "Red (Taylor's Version)". Therefore, be aware that Taylor Swift owns any record with Taylor's Version in parenthesis next to the name of the album. Knowing this information, I am in awe of how her brain works because who would ever think to re-record their own albums? It is Taylor Swift herself.

Moreover, Taylor is a master in giving her fans a lot of easter eggs. “I love to communicate through Easter eggs,” Swift told Entertainment Weekly. Easter eggs are essentially hidden messages inside Swift's artwork, and she once said, "I think the best messages are cryptic ones." She started this trend with her debut album from 2006 by including codes in the lyrics booklet. As a fan, I think that she is up to re-recording her previous albums again and at this time her fans, including me, think that "Speak Now" will be the next album. I am so excited with what she will release soon! We can all agree that whatever album she selected would be amazing and addictive. Let us wait patiently, Swifties, and break down all of Taylor Swift's easter eggs!
xoxo, harmony
