Welcome to my internets.
I have broad interests in the isotope geochemistry of past and present atmospheres, plants, and fossils. I also develop new methods and instrumentation for measuring rare stable isotopes in gases.
Here you can find periodic updates to my projects, and datasets. See also the homepage of the Stable Light Isotope Lab at the University of Cape Town, my GitHub Page, and a (largely dormant, 2025) Twitter/X Account.
I like this quote from Sydney Brenner: "Progress in science depends on new techniques, new discoveries, and new ideas, ... probably in that order." My aim is to focus on all three, and remain curious about the natural world.
