Library Advisory Committee (LAC)

Library Advisory Committee is constituted to address the issues involved for the development of the library. LAC mainly plays an important role in collection development of the library. We at our college meet and make decisions through LAC for purchasing library materials precisely books and journals for the library. LAC also meets in segregating funds for different subject domains based on the funds available by management. LAC helps in making decisions regarding purchasing books, journals, library furniture etc. LAC made some important decision about library expansion, library software for automation, purchasing library furniture for smooth functioning of the library and other issues pertaining to the library development. Library functions under the guidance and supervision of the library advisory committee.
