ViewFix: How to delete your data
ViewFix: Creator Content Check does not have accounts. Unless you join the optional leaderboard, it does not store personal information linked to you. Here is how to remove everything the app keeps.
Data on your phone
- Saved checks: open ViewFix > Help > Delete my saved checks.
- Remembered @usernames and settings: go to Android Settings > Apps > ViewFix > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
Leaderboard
If you joined the leaderboard, open ViewFix > Leaderboard > Leave leaderboard. Your @username, name, profile picture link, player ID and points are deleted from our server immediately.
Data on the ViewFix server
Links and @usernames you look up are used only to fetch public data from the YouTube and Instagram APIs. Results are kept in a temporary cache for up to 24 hours and are then deleted automatically. They are not linked to your identity.
Instagram and Facebook
ViewFix never asks you to log in with Instagram or Facebook and has no access to your accounts, so there is no ViewFix data stored in your Meta account.
Request deletion or ask a question
If you can't use the app, or want us to delete or correct anything, email viewfixapp.help@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion" and your Instagram @username if you joined the leaderboard. We will reply within 7 working days.
