Outlining

Outlining Basics:

1. Create a very short, very brief explanation of your project's topic/scenario - 30 second pitch
2. Create an objective statement that describes the purpose of your video
3. Begin with an introduction - introduce the topic to the audience, tell them what they'll hear/see, include an opening statement (hook) that captures them within the first 6 seconds
4. Develop the body of the video - tell the story, break it into pieces or steps, add some details
5. Generate a conclusion - remind them what you told them, summarize the information, close with next steps or a call to action
