As a visual thinker, I wanted to add some photos I have taken and tell you about my values, passions, and interests.
Protecting biodiversity, through native plants and pollinator gardens to help preserve natural environments and create new green spaces.
Bear Creek Provincial Park (Kelowna, BC) in 2021.
My partner and I drove through the southern mainland wildfires to reach our destination. On this hike, we could hear the sirens as fire fighters responded to a call on the south side of the mountain

While I'm biased to value trees and nature before people, we are what make cities. Creating inclusive spaces, and cultural centers, and connecting neighborhoods through public transit and walking paths help to build a stronger urban community.
Urban green spaces can also be productive areas for local food production in the city. During the Food & The City field school, I participated in we explored community gardens and local growers who grow local food in the most unlikely of places. This photo is of the Fernwood Community Garden in Victoria, BC.
-My first day at CanBav in 2016-

I am always excited to explore a new place, visit a new city, and be exposed to different cultures.
I've been privileged to travel to Italy and travel across the USA.
But no matter where I go, it's nice to know that Canada is my home. And that my family will always be here for me.
When the day is over and I can close the tabs on school work, you can find me exploring a different world, organizing my world-building notes, planning my next Dungeons & Dragons campaign, or maybe just unwinding with some drawing or knitting.
When it comes to creativity I refuse to grow up and always try my best to keep my mind active.
