On March 28th, 2023 the Environmental Sustainability in Practice class at UVic took a tour of Blue Grouse Winery in the Cowichan Valley to learn about scaling sustainability goals from a family owned business' to a corporate extension.
Learning about organic vs sustainability certifications, using animals to maintain winter landscapes, choosing to preserve woodlands to provide intrinsic value and natural water filtration.
