I have completed all my requirements for a bachelor of science from the University of Victoria, BC, a school I choose to attend for more reasons than just its name.
In 2015 I moved from central Ontario to Vancouver Island. I left behind the fresh waters of the great lakes and began to explore the salty coasts of BC. It was an opportunity of a lifetime and I can say if I stayed in Ontario I would have never been pulled out of physics 12 one afternoon to see a pod of whales in the nearby bay.
I wanted to continue my education in BC and choose to attend the University of Victoria as it was a 15-minute walk to the ocean, has a fully walkable campus, and offers one of the best engineering programs. During my time at UVic, I discovered the discipline of geography and changed my career path, getting a hands-on education in a field where I get to explore and research the natural and built world.
I'm ambitious, determined, and ready to explore a new area. If you are looking for a dedicated employee who is willing to be a lifelong learner and build her technical skills through cooperative team projects, then look no further.

Attendance from 2018 - 2023, currently enrolled in the geography program and expected to graduate with my B.Sc in May (2023).
When I moved to Vancouver Island I volunteered my first summer at the Cowichan Valley Information Center, learning the lay of the land, and quickly adapting to answer tourists' questions.
In 2016, I began working at Canadian Bavarian Millwork and Lumber. This was an exceptional opportunity for me at the time. I learned how to work in a fast pace and potentially dangerous environment.
Until 2021 I continued going back to CanBav as a summer student. I worked my way through various roles, including training new hires and operating a forklift.
This past summer I spent time working at a local retail store in Victoria. This was a change of pace from the lumber mill and gave me new responsibilities. This opportunity allowed me to stay in Victoria, and truly explore the city for the first time since attending UVic.
