In most multiplayer games, there is always some form of communication like a chat box for texting either globally or just to a friend or group. However, for games that require to defeat enemies, you may want a way of connecting with friends or other players that is faster than typing because it may take too long. Because of this, many people nowadays use Discord or social media platforms to talk to each other through voice chats or calls instead of texting or typing. Discord is an app that I use quite often to connect with people to play games together. This relates to social technologies beyond educational settings because current people use social media as one of their main ways to connect with friends and family through posting and chatting. During the process of creating this website, my group had some trouble choosing the plstform we were going to use. We had to pick between Google Slides or Sites and resulted in making a Site while incorporating Slides within it, which made the media content much more diverse. We also created an informative video to watch using Animoto to make transitions. At this point into the course, citing photos and references have become easy and simple to do with much practice done beforehand. This was a very fun project to collaborate on.
