Dickensian Streetscene
Another model that was hugely popular with many being sent overseas to the USA , France, Japan, Switzerland, Canada and other parts of Europe, Featured in magazines numerous times it comprises two buildings (both available individually) and a backing shop fitted on a cobbled baseboard. Various combinations were requested by customers including a special 3 building extended version for Hollywood movie star Mila Jovovich who also ordered other buildings
Beautifully complimented by fitting a bracket lantern and a streetlamp made by Geoff Lewis. All on a base 46" by 22". On the left sits the Old Curiosity Shop, two large rooms, and small attic, on the right sits the Tavern/General store or whatever., two large rooms. The backing has a shop window which has access from the back for dressing etc. Both buildings open on the side to avoid disturbing items placed on the street etc. Can be modified to suit individual requirements or can be remodeled completely to suit a different era, ie. Medieval etc. shopfronts sign written to suit customers wishes.
The standard streetscene shown here fitted with bracket lantern and lampost made by Geoff Lewis. Both buildings open on the left and right ends so figures etc are not disturbed. The rear window can be accessed from the back both upstairs and below.
A variation of the streetscene showing the old mill bakery fitted on the left, the other building is set as a tavern which most collectors seemed to prefer
A Streetscene filled with figures etc and supplied by one of my old cutomers. She also had Christmas cards made with this photo to send to all her friends & family.
