VetReady is a pet health management app that helps you track medications, log daily health observations, and generate vet-ready PDF reports — all in one place.
How do I add a pet?

When you first open VetReady you'll be prompted to add your pet. After that, go to Settings → Your Pets → + Add another pet. Enter your pet's name, species, breed, date of birth, and optionally attach a photo.

Free users can add 1 pet. Upgrade to VetReady Pro (one-time lifetime purchase) for unlimited pets.

Open your pet's profile, tap the + button, and fill in the medication name, dosage, frequency, start date, and supply count.
Can I edit or delete a medication?

Yes — swipe left on any medication to reveal edit and delete options. Editing and deleting medications is a VetReady Pro feature.
What are Refill Alerts?

When enabled, VetReady will notify you when your pet's medication supply is running low (e.g., 3, 5, 7, 10, or 14 days remaining). You can configure the threshold in Settings → Preferences → Refill Alerts. This is a Pro feature.

What can I log?
You can log daily health observations for each pet — things like appetite, energy level, symptoms, and general notes. These logs help you spot trends over time and share accurate info with your vet.
Can I set a daily reminder?
Can I set a daily reminder?
Yes. Go to Settings → Preferences → Daily Log Reminder and toggle it on. You can also tap the time to adjust when the reminder fires.

How do I enable iCloud Backup?
How do I enable iCloud Backup?
Go to Settings → Data & Security → iCloud Backup and toggle it on. You must be signed in to iCloud on your device. This is a Pro feature and is available on iOS only.
What gets backed up?

All of your pet profiles, medications, and daily logs are backed up to your private iCloud container. No one else can access this data.

When you enable iCloud Backup on a new device (or after a data reset), VetReady will detect your existing backup and offer to restore it.

This means your iCloud account has run out of storage space. Free up space in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage on your device, then try again.

If you've already purchased VetReady Pro and need to restore it (e.g., on a new device), open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchase at the bottom. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How is my data stored?
How is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Backup, a copy is stored in your private iCloud container. We do not have access to your data and it is never shared with third parties.

Go to Settings → Data & Security → Delete All Data. This permanently erases all pets, logs, and medications from your device and iCloud. This action cannot be undone.

Make sure notifications are enabled for VetReady in your device's Settings → Notifications.
Ensure Daily Log Reminder or Refill Alerts are toggled on inside the app.
Restart VetReady and try again.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled, toggle it off and back on — VetReady will offer to restore from your backup.
Make sure you haven't accidentally tapped "Delete All Data".

Make sure you're running the latest version of VetReady from the App Store.
Restart your device.
