CANVA

Canva is an online platform that helps with visual design and document creation. It provides tools for creating social media graphics, presentations, postcards, promotional merchandise and websites.

I use canva in my online classes by creating presentations based on specific topics, such as habits. I include videos and images to encourage oral dicussion and to elicit the grammar or vocabulary topic from the students. Also, I add links to online games and role plays for practising in a fun way.

ISL COLLECTIVE

ISLCollective is an online platform where language teachers from all around the globe share their homemade didactic materials for others to use. Teachers can browse the ISLCollective website to find a wide range of teaching materials, including worksheets, lesson plans, flashcards, games, and activities.

I use this web page to present authentic videos about the topic I will be covering in class or as part of a flipped classroom activity. Also, I use the available worksheets to assess my students or to provide them extra practice.

WORDWALL

Wordwall is an online platform that helps teachers create interactive and engaging learning activities for students, both in person and online. It provides various templates for teachers to choose from, allowing them to easily design and host a variety of activities like quizzes, matching games, and more.

I use this tool mostly for practising vocabulary but also to develop speaking skills. For example, If the topic of the class is the second conditional, I create a spinning wheel with different "if". After clicking the botton "spin it", the student must complete the sentence adding their own ideas and using the correct form of the verb.
