In the following post I'll explore and analyse some AI-powered digital tools and how they work.
EzyGraph is an AI-powered infographic generator that turns written text -which can be a brief description, a blog post in a URL link, into an infographic. Once it is created, you can choose a template and modify whatever aspect of it you may wish to.
Several sources highlight its user-friendly design, making it easy to use due to its intuitive interface even for those who may lack design skills (Popular AI Tools, n.d.; SaaSworthy, n.d.; Dynamic Business, 2024). As such, it is considered as a good tool for educators and any content creator who may be looking to create engaging content to improve retention by breaking down complex information into visually appealing infographics (EzyGraph, n.d.; Dynamic Business, 2024).

One of its benefits is the time efficiency it brings with it, as Popular AI Tools phrases it, reducing creation time by 90% from the traditional methods. It also offers an mobile-first approach, which distinguishes it from other tools that offer AI features such as Canva, making it more convenient to access from different devices (Ertan, 2024).
However, there are some drawbacks to be mentioned. While it is free, you need to log in in order to view your past creations, and this is limited only to a Google mail. On another note, its free plan offers you 10 credits per month, and buying a subscription promises more credits and a faster speed of conversion. In addition, the tool occasionally showed instability during testing (including credit loss and unresponsive generation) which makes it unreliable in time-sensitive educational settings.
Head over to EzyGraph.com
Select the kind of source you want to choose from (url, article, brief description)
Paste the content into the white bar (link, article or description)
Select the rest of specifications:
Steps: Automatic (default) or to choose from 3 to 10 steps
Size: Vertical (default), horizontal or square
Language (of output): same as resource (default) or choose from the list
5. Once all specifications are ready, click on "generate with AI"
6. Wait for some minutes for it to work. You will see a dashboard similar to the one in the image below in which you can customise your infographic by changing the text, and the icons if you wish to do so.
7. Once you're satisfied with the results, click on the download button on the upper right to download your infographic.

SlidesGo is a FreePik's platform that specialises in presentation templates for Google Slides and PowerPoint. Among its AI Tools, the AI Presentation Maker is the one I'll be focusing on this post.
As explained on the site The Finite AI (n.d.), SlidesGo generates a presentation in minutes only needing a few key words on the topic you choose. This is a quick and effortless way for users to generate a presentation, especially for those who might not have so much time to start from scratch.
Amon. the benefits described perhaps the most pointed out is its time-saving feature, since it only requires typing a few words and making a few clicks to obtain the desired presentation. Another one is the friendly interface that allows those without design skills to create stunning presentations (AI Wonders World, 2024).
Its wide spectrum of free and modifiable templates makes it ideal for educators and students alike. For teachers, it can be a tool used to deliver lessons in a visually compelling way that engages the students and improves their participation and knowledge. For students, its features gives them more time to focus on acquiring important skills (The Trend Chaser, 2024).
However, Joharder (2025) notices that despite the advancement of the tool, the AI is still prone to making mistakes. It is necessary to check that the text makes sense and the pictures are related to the topic at hand. To prevent this, he argues that one must be as clear as possible for the AI to come up with a presentation closest to what is desired.
As pointed out in AI Tools Inc, another problem some users may encounter is the fact that, while it is not necessary to buy a subscription plan, a free plan only allows you a limited number presentations per month (3 as of the moment of writing). To finish creating your presentation and have access to the monthly downloads, logging in through an e-mail account is necessary. Another drawback is the fact that it depends exclusively on internet connection in order to work (10web, n.d.), limiting those in a low-resource environment.
Also, the font size of anything that it's not a title is very small by default for a presentation that is intended to be shown to an audience.
Head over to slidesgo.com and click on the AI Presentation Maker button.
Write about the topic or goal of the presentation in the white box. Just below you will find a progress bar that gives you tips about what kind of information to include, asking for some specifications such as main goal, intended audience and key ideas to develop until it considers that all essential details are complete. Note that it is not necessary to develop said ideas, as the AI will generate content on its own.
3. Make sure to select the number of slides you want the presentation to have using the button on the lower left corner of the white box. The default option is "short" (8-12 slides), though you can choose "informative" for a more extensive presentation (12-24 slides).
4. Click the arrow button on the lower right corner to continue. A loading screen, as shown in the GIF below, will appear, displaying the completion percentage.
5. Once it is done, a list of consisting of a title and text to display in each slide will appear. Here you can rewrite the slide using AI by clicking on the wand or delete one of them if it seems not to fit by clicking on the trash can at the right side of each slide item. You may also choose the overall tone for the presentation (casual, professional, concise or persuasive) or to regenerate again the presentation on the toolbox at the bottom of it. Click continue once you are ready to proceed.
Example made using the AI Presentation Maker
6. Choose a template. By hovering the mouse over each of them, a quick preview of three slides of it will appear. Click on the one you will choose.
7. Download your presentation. Once you have selected a template, click on the "Generate presentation" button. The presentation may download itself automatically or a pop-up may appear asking where to save the file, depending on your browser settings.
8. Check the presentation. As mentioned before, it is important to check the outcome of the presentation as some images may not match the concept being discussed.
