Established on early 2020 at No 134, Lorong 15F, SL98, Taman Wawasan, Jalan Arang, 93250 Kuching, Sarawak.

Problem Statement

EM Learning Centre has been affected by the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Covid-19 pandemic had caused EM Learning Centre business progress distorted because no student will come to learn at the tuition centre due to restriction movement control order (MCO).
EM Learning Centre is newly open and therefore they have limited reputation and still not widely known among local people, so they faced fierce competition from other tuition centres that has more recognition and well known by the society.

Objective of Service Based Learning (SBL)

General Objective

SBL train the students to be a discipline person. Meanwhile, building a positive relationship between each other. Service learning enable the students to experience the real world situation through the community based service voluntarily.

Specific Objectives

to support the learning centre business to be more well known by giving solutions and contributing efforts;
to promote this learning centre to the community, so they get benefits from this by joining the classes provided; and
to improve our skills and practical knowledge as well as enhance our self-esteem, hence prepare us to be a productive person in the future job market.

Planning Phase

During the discussion with the client, only 3 representatives of the group meet the client. The 3 representatives are Chief Executive Officer, Chief Business Officer, and Chief Strategy Officer. The result of the discussion allowed us to design flyer, business card, and banner for the EM Learning Centre. The work division are as below:
