My ideal country would be near the beaches and the waters so I would design my country to be an island.
Next, my country should be advanced in technology.
My country should also be covered with greenery and environmental protection is a priority.
Not only that my country will also prioritise the people's happiness, education, healthcare and peace among each other and among other countries as well.
Then, I divided into different aspects to elaborate on to further create my country's profile.

After considering a few names, I decided to name my country Victor Isle.
The word 'Victor' comes from my father's first name and it is also my last name. However, the word 'Victor' has a deeper meaning to it. 'Victor' can give out the meaning to be a person who has overcome or defeated an adversary or for short it can mean a person who wins.
Then, I added in the word 'Isle' which means a small island to indicate that Victor Isle is an island.
Thus, Victor Isle - means that it is a small country with people who are determined to strive towards victory.

Youth, fame and beauty are very much like hibiscus flowers, which have short lives. Although the flowers may die, they do grow back as long as their bush or tree is cared for. Enjoy beautiful moments while they last.

In China, hibiscuses symbolize the fleeting and beauty of fame or personal glory. It is given to both men and women.
Therefore, in Victor Isle the hibiscus would symbolize the beauty of the nature in the island and to have a message to enjoy beautiful moments in life while they last.

I chose surfing as the national sport of Victor Isle because according to most surfers they find surfing as a way of life. I want the people of Victor Isle to be empowered through the waves, challenged during wipeouts and paddle outs to allow them to feel a sense of happiness and belonging like never before. I also hope for that they feel a sense of connection with the ocean that Victor Isle is surrounded by. Not only that, this will also be a way to ensure that the people of Victor Isle are able to swim for their safety.

I chose the monarchy system as a form of government in Victor Isle because I personally think it is one of the best form of government in the world.
This is because, having a monarch unites the people as they represent the whole nation while politicians represent only their party. Thus, the people of Victor Isle will feel much more connected to their leader.
Not only that, a monarch also have morals and their job is for life. As an example, heirs to the throne are usually raised to know their position and to learn the ropes of their future job. This makes them more experienced than the politicians who govern the country.
The monarch (Queen/King) of Victor Isle will also be assisted by the other nobles below them to help the monarch rule over the country.

Agriculture in Victor Isle goes beyond crop farming which includes forestry, dairy, fruit cultivation, poultry and livestock.
With smooth development practice of agriculture in Victor Isle, imports are reduced while export increases considerably. This helps to reduce unfavorable balance of payments as well as saving foreign exchange.

I decided to choose cashless payment method in Victor Isle because I believe in an age of rapid digitalisation, our spending should follow a similar fate.
Not only that, being a cashless country has more benefits than challenges.
For instance, less trees would be cut down when cash that is made of paper is not used in the country. Not only that, cash-based criminal activity could also be avoided and also less cash would mean faster and secure transactions.

In Victor Isle, we try to provide with the best facilities to help the people to stay healthy such as hospitals, clinics, specialists, rehabilitation centers, radiology centers and more.
Facilities such as gyms and parks is also important to ensure the people of Victor Isle have places to exersice, jog, take a stroll and places for children to play.
Lastly, nation wide campaigns such as 'No Smoking Campaign!' and Health Day will also be held to educate the people of Victor Isle.

As someone who personally find happiness as the most important thing in life, I would wish that mental health is taken seriously in Victor Isle.
In Victor Isle, seeking counseling and visiting physcologist is a commonplace - unlike other countries for example in Malaysia, I personally have observed and experienced that they view mental health treatment and mental illness as a taboo.
Not only that, people who have commited crime will not face imprisonment but they will get the help that they need through counseling programs that will be planned out for them. Especially people who are faced with crimes related to misuse of drugs will get help by going through addiction therapy and will be released with supervision after the program.

Same like Finland one of the best country in the education system, I would want Victor Isle to also offer free education to citizens with no dead ends. Inspired by Finland, I would also want the children of Victor Isle to learn through experiences and grow from them.
For early education I would want to implement the concept of learning through play. Until the age of 6, students aren't required to attend schools.
Basic education is provided when a child turns 7. For the next nine years students are required to attend primary and secondary schools where free meals is provided for the children. Also, Victor Isle will not incorporate national standardized testing but they do evaluations for testing learning outcomes.
Bright students with remarkable grades and talented students in different fields will be given scholarships from the government when entering college or universities of their choice.

I think that inequality within societies and between regions has become a key cause for conflict.
How do I solve this problem?
Physical security is often the first priority, creating space for societal developments and processes to take place. Creating rule of law, good governance, and democratic political system take time and patience. Sometimes what comes too late, and does not receive adequate attention is economic recovery, guaranteeing the livelihoods of individuals in a society.
Why can this happen?
Technology has led us to a world full of skyscrapers, airplanes, cheap food, and factory-made everything. However, it wrecked the environment and left us dependent on resources and systems that are inherently unsustainable.
How do I solve this problem?
With the proper guidance, the technological developments happening now could lead to a world where we replace chemical factories with microbial communities, merging our technological ecosystems with natural ones, embrace nature-inspired design as a genuinely smart engineering principle, and generally start progressing in a way that isn’t so dismissive of the natural world.
