Get ready for a new kind of keynote. 

During the opening reception and keynote at VCSSC 2024, hear from renowned Afro-futurist historian and author, Dr. Walter Greason, about the history of hip hop and how this history can help our students better connect to and understand modern American history. As Dr. Greason takes us through the history itself, artist, Tim Fielder, will share his process of illustrating this history. During the keynote, Fielder will also be illustrating live, and his iPad will be projected for the audience to view!
