Welcome!

Hello Everyone! My name is Dr. Roberto Gonzalez, DPA, and I will be your instructor for VBUS-013 Introduction to Personal Management using Microsoft Outlook. I am excited to be your instructor, and I look forward to helping you develop your confidence with Microsoft Outlook. I have been teaching continuing education and career classes at Santiago Canyon College since 2013, and teaching is my passion.

Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that education should be accessible, practical, and empowering. Education should be accessible to all students who want to learn, including those with busy schedules, multiple jobs, and family responsibilities. That's why I place a strong emphasis on flexibility for my students. I emphasize learning by doing, so my approach focuses on giving you hands-on experience with software, and I also provide practical, real-world scenarios where you can easily apply those skills to improve productivity. Ultimately, my goal is to help you meet your student learning outcomes and build the confidence and knowledge you need to be productive in your field.

Santiago Canyon College
