The Library is usually open between 8am - 4.30pm (we sometimes need to close for staff meetings).
Book club - first Wednesday of the month
Craft & Connect - breaktimes on Tuesdays
Build & Board - breaktimes on Thursdays
Study Hall after school until 5pm on Tuesdays

Non-fiction across a broad range of subjects
Use the library website to search the library collection, and to find book lists and recommendations. You can sign-in to view and manage your loans.
We welcome your suggestions for the collection - add to the suggestions book at the library desk or send a message to vbclibrary.
You can borrow up to 5 items (although we can extend this for rapid readers!).
Loans are for 4 weeks and you can renew books at the library desk or on the website. Please return books promptly when you are finished.
You can sign in to the library website to manage your loans.

Our non-fiction collection has information covering a broad range of subjects, supporting both study and recreational reading.
Our research guides and subject guides have information to help you find library and online resources to support your study.
Find us at the library desk for help with borrowing or finding books. We also lend out stationery, games, drawing and craft materials and more!
There is a printer/copier in the library. Library staff can help with printing - there are instructions at the printer and here.
An IT Helpdesk is in the library at breaktimes.
The quiet study room is usually reserved for senior students for individual study. It is used by VHAP classes on Tuesdays (period 2 and period 4).
Our soft seating area is used by English classes visiting the library for browsing/borrowing.
The main library area is a study space during class times for students on study periods. It can also be booked for use by classes.
During breaktimes this is a collaborative space used for group study, socialising, games and activities.
