· PLEASE ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 9.15am: Entry is ONLY via the rear door of the theatre. There is NO parking at the back of the Theatre as the area is narrow and must be kept clear in case of fire.
A VAST Team Member will be there to check you in. Please form an orderly queue, keep your students together and your school will enter as a group, where you will individually tick your name to show you have signed in. There will be helpers to take you to the auditorium. Teachers will be provided with the security rear-door pin access code. Please do not give this number to students
9:30 AM
WHOLE CAST MEETING IS AT 9.30am with all performers and teachers (sitting in school groups in the auditorium).
Teachers – please sit with your students and ensure they are respectful of the Theatre’s seats etc. Assume responsibility of your students (and their behavior) at all times with the expectation that your school rules will be followed. Thank you!
Split into
2 Groups
Group 1 (first half of show)
Garin College
Motueka High
Nayland College
Rehearse at the Theatre till 1pm (Photos will be taken / full costume is recommended)
Each dance will get 10 minutes on stage to plot lighting and any technical requests.
We will then run a full First Half Rehearsal.
Students must remain in the auditorium and watch each other, being aware of the running order and when they need to be side stage and prepared. Teachers will need to help in the running of these rehearsals.
Take everything with you for lunch offsite @ 1pm then you will regroup outside the rear door of the theatre at 1.45pm ready to go together to workshops (2.00 – 3.30pm)
2nd Group
Workshops
Group 2 (second half of show) **Go to Workshops**
Nelson College for Girls
Waimea College
Attend workshops in the morning (10.30am – 12pm) go straight to lunch then back at the theatre for 1.20pm to prepare for rehearsing 2pm – 5pm

Students must remain in the auditorium and watch each other, being aware of the running order and when they need to be side stage and prepared. Teachers will need to help in the running of these rehearsals.
LUNCH
