About VPNA
About VPNA
VPNA was founded in 2018 by neighbors dedicated to creating a vibrant, active, and resilient community (check our map for location details).
We focus on bringing the neighborhood together by hosting two major, volunteer-run events each year: a Spring Ice Cream Social and a Halloween Night Event. We hope to add additional events to build community spirit.
VPNA events are made possible by the City of Mountain View grants and generous donations from neighbors like you.

Our History and Vision
Our History and Vision
The Varsity Park Neighborhood Association (VPNA) was officially launched in 2018 by a dedicated group of neighbors and received an initial award from the City of Mountain View in 2019.
Building a Stronger Community
Our goal is to foster a fun, vibrant, and informed neighborhood. We actively coordinate with our local Varsity Park CERT team to ensure our events are both enjoyable and informative. We're also exploring new initiatives like the Mountain View-sponsored Cool Block program.
What's Next
Over the coming years, we plan to host a variety of community-building activities, including: ice cream socials, block parties, bike safety evenings, garden tours, and Halloween events. If you're interested in sharing ideas, please take this 5-minute survey to provide input for future events.
