Community Services Agency - If you are not a home-bound senior or in a high risk category, please consider volunteering at the Community Services Agency in Mountain View, which provides critical support to our community, including to our food sensitive and elderly neighbors. They are an essential service provider and are in desperate need of assistance. Call Andrea Clark at (650) 964-4630. Or check their website to make donations: https://www.csacares.org/donate/
Donate Blood - there is a severe blood supply shortage. You may even be eligible for an Amazon gift card or other reward.

Consider fostering a pet - Don't shelter in place alone. According to certain reports, the shelters are critically short of volunteers. Maybe consider calling the local shelter and donating food or foster a pet.
Check Neighbors - In the interim, if you are well and low risk, please do check in with your neighbors who are elderly, have underlying medical conditions or live alone. They may need assistance in this time. But be sure to avoid putting them at further risk - practice the social distancing and good hygiene practices recommended by the CDC and other medical professionals (see: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/index.html), and abide by Gov. Newsome’s California-wide shelter-in-place order.
