About Us

VAPEC is a 100% volunteer based organization of professionals in the field of adapted physical education/activity. The organization focuses on advocacy, collaboration, professional development and research. Membership to the organization is free and open to physical educators (current and retired), future professionals in the area of physical education/activity, professionals in academia in the area of adapted physical education/activity or related, and other stakeholders with direct connections to serving individuals with disabilities in physical education/activity within Virginia.
