Active Consortia
Together with the lab of Martin Giera (LUMC), and sponsored by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative we have generated the Neurolipid atlas. An online browser for lipidomics data in neurodegenerative diseases. On this project we also closely collaborate with the lab of Priyanka Narajan (NIH) and other members of the CZI neurodegeneration challenge network.
Our lab is part of the MODEM consortium. Within this consortium Dutch dementia researchers work together to understand the fundamental progresses that underlie different types of dementia.
Our lab coordinates the EXERBRAIN consortium, funded under the 2022 JPND call "Understanding the Mechanisms for Non-Pharmacological Interventions". The aim of the consortium is to investigate the crosstalk between exercise and brain lipid metabolism in the protection against Alzheimer’s Disease. Collaborators include Alex Bartelt (Germany), Eider Arenaza-Urquijo (Spain), Çığır BİRAY AVCI (Turkey) and Constanza Cortes (USA).
