Alexandra Karakas
Alexandra Karakas is assistant research fellow in the project.
Previously she studied at Eötvös Loránd University, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Her research focuses on the philosophy of technology, and design studies.
She is working on her doctoral thesis on the philosophy of malfunction in design and technology.
Within the project, she will publish two monographs: the first will be an extended version of her thesis, and the second is an introduction to contemporary design.
