About Me

Just a little background of who I am:

I was born and grew up in Arizona.  I left for a very short time right after high school.  I studied to be a Veterinary Tech, which is pretty much a nurse for animals.  I quickly realized I would rather work with children than animals, even though I do love animals. 

We have a large, blended family.  My husband, Glen, and I married in June of 2006.  We have 6 children all together:  

• Jason is married to Erica and they have 2 Children, Zyler and Serinity.  They live in Kansas.  

• Janet is living in Buckeye and helping to care for her mother.  

• Jon(athon), is living in Kansas

• Sarah is married to Walter.  They have identical twin girls, Aylah and Maya.  They're living in Buckeye, so we get to see the girls every other weekend!

• Lizz (Elizabeth) is a kitchen manager at a restaurant in Scottsdale and hopes to eventually open her own restaurant.

• Kat(herine) is the youngest, she is currently working at Yogutini/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, her plans are to open a Gluten Free Bakery/Cat Cafe

• We currently have 2 dogs amd 3 cats

Hobbies:

• Most of you already know I crochet, A LOT!  Mostly blankets but recently have expanded to animals. 

• I also like to sew. I really enjoying designing dresses for my daughters and granddaughters.

Other things of interest:

• I volunteer at my church in the nursery and also run the bookstore there.
